They are VERY busy over there. I only got him cause I called at the end of the day and he happend to be in his office. Give them a call. If you are just wanting prices, Candy can take care of you.

Is that low lift 212/218 not a great cam to go with? Compared to some of the
se Futral grinds?

I'm not 100% sure, but the cam motion lobes FMS uses that are aggressive are the high lift ones, which are close the the XER lobe. The lower lift lobes are probably less aggressive than the Comp XE-high lift lobe looking at what lift durations I've seen. No matter, either comps XEH/XER or the Cam Motions lobes are a good choice. Going with the low lift comp or the smaller crane lobe would not be the best choice.

KD - I like the sound of that cam. I think I've suggested something very similar to that in the past.

That was like a week ago.........
I will look under sales e-mails,I only look at this e-mail once a week to see how things are going or when Candy directs a tech e-mail. We get a little side tracked sometimes, but we work very hard on it for a growing company. For tech or certain info,e-mail me at allan@futralmotorsports.com as I check that one several times a day, between working.

Glad to help everybody else out, and hope you enjoy the new power....

I have a text document that I have been coping cam recomendations into for about a year and a half now. Here is one of you suggestions from a while back, 210/214, .556 .559 114 +2 Sounds pretty much dead on with the first FMS cam mentioned in this thread.

Oh and Allan... I hope I didnt give away any sensitive information. I was just really excited after ordering my cam... and still am. Thanks!

They are having a dyno at FG8 at the end of the month that I plan on getting on a showing up a few fbods. I probablly wont have a chance to get a before dyno though. The last one I had was about a year and a half ago and I put down 280/304. I have done a few things since then so I am hoping for around 340/340 on motor with the new setup. :dunno:
