well, i had to get off my lazz **** and get a job over the summer. so i got a job at oriellys so i could hook up discounts and i knew the people there so its not that bad but anyways...

1. our trucks weigh 6200lbs (extended cab 1500)

2. torque converters will cause massive over heating on our trucks and shouldnt be used.

3. it is not possible to do 120 in 3rd gear in our trucks. i told him that our trucks cant go into 4th gear at WOT and that he could look through my ls1 edit file if he wants, but he told me ls1 edit was wrong LOL. i told him i believe my pcm over his word....

4. he told me that 75 is too much for our engines. i told him i sprayed 100shot for about 6 months, and actually felt it was a small shot...

5. he told me his GMS MAF is the ****. obviously he doesnt have enough mods on his truck to know how wrong that statement is lol

6. tells me his gibson shorty headers put out pretty much the same power as my hamm longtubes.

7. talks of a extended cab 99up running 10.2 with a whipple on stock internals. says the stock internals are more than strong enough to handle the 750+ rwhp it would take to send a ex cab to low 10s. especially considering there are hardly any camaros running that quick yet. he got this information from a magazine though, so it MUST be right <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> lol

hmm.... i think that is all the "wisdom" i have gathered in the 4 days i have worked there, but im sure i will learn MUCH more about making our trucks fast as the summer progresses! LOL! haha

Yeah same w/ me but really slow truck is makin 7/hr (sorry Bryan)... I'm gettin 11 haha. the trucks cant shift to 4th in WOT? odd. it sure felt like it did the other night <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> ill look over the atap log but i remember 3 shifts on there....all the way up to 127.

 

Ryan: mine shifts into 3rd gear at 90-92, then hits 120 @ 5000 rpm. if u have edit, it shows it set on 3-4 to go at 255mph or something like that
