Default Fuel Pump Replacement

Alright...what's the deal with the "1999+ LS1 Camaro / Firebird / GTA
High-Performance Fuel Pump System with Plug n' Play Upgrade Wiring Harness" from Racetronix? Is this the unit that just "plops" right in place of our trucks stock fuel pumps....or more specifically my 2000 Z71 1500?

Depends on the P/N of your fuel module.
This is the information we send pretty much everybody who asks this question.

Call your local GM dealer with your VIN # and get the GM eight digit or preferably the Delco MU fuel pump module P/N. With this we CAN determine if your FPU is compatible with the Racetronix venturi pump systems.

Delco MU159 (GM 25314353) compatible
Delco MU152 (GM 25314341) compatible
Delco MU1065 or MU203 (GM 25320538 / Delphi FG0127) compatible

Delco MU1089 (GM 25176865 or 25345026) not compatible
Delco MU1062 (GM 25344814 / Delphi FG0070) not compatible
Delco MU170 (GM 25169302 / Delphi FG0104) not compatible

Once this is done contact Racetronix with your MU # as each requires slightly different parts due to size variations.

The HW harness would be a different length as well.
These systems are not officially released yet as we are working on an application chart and manuals.

Hmmm, cool, thanks! not officially released ( )means it's not for sell( ) or just doesn't come with manuals and application charts.

And since the ad on the webpage says web orders only, I am assuming I would need to email with my particulars instead of calling...once I find those particualrs out so that you could make sure it all works and put together a custom unit?

The fuel pump manual would be almost identical to the F99 system.
The variation is in harness length as GM has many different size trucks.
E-mail your info and we will go from there.

Looking for an in tank pump that is 255lph or better. My stock pump is a 10355739 or MU1222. Do you have anything compatible?

Everytime I do a search to see if they support my tank this thread reminds me of my loss. And now you dug it up... I'd say email racetronix directly since the mu# is listed.

I emailed them and about 5 other companies. I included this thread and told them to read your post and mine So IF I get a good answer from any of them I will let you know. Did you ever get your fuel problem worked out? I am losing pressure on the Ford 42# injectors after about 3000rpm. I am on the stock fuel pump only so I understand why. Looking for a better option than the 255lph inline I have in my garage. Also have a Kenne Bell Boost-A-Pump if I need it.
