Default Fuel pressure test port for nitrous - HELP

Am I missing some sort of adapter or something? The fuel pressure test port looks like a large tire valve stem, but the line I have coming off my fuel solenoid doesnt have anything that would depress this little stem inside the test port, i assume I am missing an adapter? whats this adapter look like? or am I just doing something wrong?

You have to get a valve core removal tool and take out the little stem.
