BC I apologize for "condoning" by "horraying" the time slip. But this is what i was leading to with "these days" they just don't go bad. Quite frankly...58psi just doesn't seem like you should worry you know what I mean? I don't mean "you" but people in his and what was my shoes. No problems and while your at the track you happen to notice it doesn't seem to hold pressure by just a few clicks at WOT. I mean I have seen plenty off times people (including yourself) state 58-60+ is what you want to see at WOT. However experience will dictate that the change is not good, but no experience surely won't...I mean in the mind of Holty I can't speculate, but really...ahh what's a couple of psi points? A +-3 on the gauge for caculation purposes (mine has +- 3 disclaimer) or A blown motor?

BTW is the magna inline a Walbro as I have read by other members?

it is a walbro.

I was talking about your original post that states you have seen it as low as 40 psi. If that is the case, then there is a problem! 58-60 is normal, yes....40psi is not. I am just looking out for you and your truck with the firm words, it is in your best interest to fix that pump asap.

BTW congrats on the new ET.

I will, i promise. i work all week, 9-5, then go to the gym until 7, then come home, eat dinner, and go to bed. Hard to find the time during the week, it'll have to wait unti saturday. i don't drive my truck everyday anyways. My wife is a Nurse, and works only 3 days a week. Usually 2 16 hour shifts and 1 8 hour shift. so i use her car usually 3 or 4 days a week to drive to work. i did drive my truck today, but i NEVER beat on my truck unless i'm at the track, doing hptuners logs, or embarrasing the occasional mustang owner.

i'll post back as soon as i get it installed. Probably saturday along with my new Corsa cat-back.

Thanks for the reply Holty. I am on my 2nd Autometer gauge and I still think this one is crap. It doesn't react as quick as it should like you stated. I screwed in a manual dial gauge in the fuel rail and I read ~58psi. My electronic gauge fluctuates between 55-60 throughout a WOT 0-110 run. I dip a little lower (mid 50's) on the dyno above 5800rpm's and creap a little lean. Time for a booster and bigger injectors.

yeah dude, i hear ya on that. my inj duty cycle is above 106% at my shift points. I don't really run my truck WOT all that much, so i'm gonna pass on the bigger injectors, but i am going to get a magnavolt. don't have any cash now though. i've spent so much money on this truck the last few months i need to chill out for awhile. after all is said and done i've got about 20K in this thing after all the audio equipment, performance mods, wheels/tires, etc.
