fuel injectors 5.3L
#1
I need a new set of injectors. My motor isn't modified except for full bolt ons and I don't plan to do anything else to it. What I need is a stock set of injectors. I found a new set on eBay for 62 bucks, but it says they're for a 2011 5.3. Would these work on my motor? If not, where could I find a cheap set?

Look here for the flow rates. 🧐 Looks like they are different by about 5 lb/hr...

Yeah, what is wrong with your injectors? All of them are bad?
I would check RockAuto for replacements using your specific truck, year, and engine.

For Ss&Gs I got a set of "GM 42lb marine 8.1L injectors" and sent them out to be tested... laughable. I told the guy to just toss them, wasn't worth paying to ship them back to me. I would rather use genuine GM injectors from a junkyard vehicle before any of the chinese knock offs. Is it really worth hydrolocking an engine? Or washing down a few cylinder walls?

I've got 4 engines on stands that melted pistons from cheap injectors.
Got another one with 3 dropped valves from ebay valve springs.
Now I ask for links from what parts they bought before I will let them drop the vehicle off. Haha.

They see it on the internet and think it's true.
I've had one truck dropped off at the shop that had quite a few issues.
it had 4 different flow rates of injectors. From 25, 33, 36, and 52s in it. The guy that was workin on it even added the extra connectors to fit the EV6 injectors. So it was really easy to figure out what was going on.

it's very difficult to explain that to folks these days.
They see it on the internet and think it's true.
