I've heard quite a bit about a lot of aftermarket CAI kits causing loss in power.
K&N being one of them.
You may want to ditch it for a better one.
Then do exhaust. I would go a head and do longtube headers with high flow cats and choose a cat-back system to compliment that. (Pacesetters or the complete Dynatechs for the longtube headers and either Magnaflow or Corsa for the cat-back).
Add a 160 or 180* t-stat from SLP performance (they seem to be very reasonable).
Then, I would get a custom tune from Nelson Performance.
That pretty much somes it up for the basic bolt-ons.
A really good upgrade would be changing your gearing to 3.73 gears after all those upgrades. Then a free re-tune.
Your MPG will go up after some of these mods as well. (If you keep your foot out of it to tell)
When your still not satified ,then select your choice of Cam & head combo, or supercharger, or turbo. Then another free re-tune.
This info should help you start spending your money wisely on good upgrades for power gains felt in the seat of the pants.
Good luck and happy spending!!
