I Got A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 With The 5.3 And I Was Just Wondering What Free Mods I Could Do To It To Help It Out A Little. Im Going To Get The K&n Cold Air And I Put Dual Flowmaster Exhaust. Any Help Is Apreciated. Thanx.

theres not many free mods that are worth a crap in my opinion though. maybe the tb bypass to cool down the air a little

 

Port and polish the TB is about the only one worth a crap IMO, but I have done most of them Also, if you havent put the Flowmasters on yet , DON'T. All they do is make noise that sounds good, but they dont help your performance as much as a Magnaflow, Hooker, or Borla would.

 

weight reduction is ur friend on free mods. if u dont need it...take it off.

 

My brother LONSLO....did the throttle body bypass today and said all id does is act like when you first crank up in the mornings and the air is cool its simiar to that but all the time....YEa flowmasters suck im getting rid of mine to get a magnaflow!

 

Thanks For The Help Im Thinking About Porting The Tb. And Im Going To Star T Doing Some Wirght Reductions Its Got Of Lot Of Extra Weight.
