Free Mod??

Default Free Mod??

I have done the tb free mod but i was wondering what the egr free mod is. I see you guys talk about it but don't really know what it is. So if someone would tell me what to do or what it consists of and if it will help any let me know thanks.

The egr mod is removing the one 10mm bolt that holds the egr pipe into the manifold just behind the throttle body on the pass side of of the intake. Remove the bolt, gently pull out the pipe paying attention to the o ring. The pipe cones down to a straight 1/2" pipe. Goes from 3/4 to 1/2? Anyway, you want to cut at that point. Don't cut past this point closer to the mounting pad. I am not sure where the link is for the free mods list and instructions but do some searching for it. There is also the bb mod in the tstat too. I know theres more but haven't done more yet. Hope this helps.

What year model truck do you have? You may not have EGR. I forget what year they started leaving them off.
