I was tlakin about the factory y-pipe thats how much they cost from the dealer. Do you ahve headers? Lts? Just get an ORY built.

I did not know that about the emissions parts having that kind of warranty, thanks BigTex for bringing that to my attention. I am going to get a hold of the dealership Monday.

That is insane that the dealership can charge that much for the factory y-pipe.

I just have shorty headers for now When I do get some lt's I was thinking about probably going with ASM's.

I would think it would too. The 02 sensors should have sensed a problem, but then again, they may not throw a code unless it burns one up.
A good scanner would show each of the 02 sensors readings. Though you would need to know what a normal output to know if there is a problem there or not.

I'm not sure the computer looks at TPS vs. MAF vs. O2....It's be a great thing if it did but I'm not sure it does.

If I m not mistaken, federal law makes all manfactures warranty cats for 50k miles, so GM may have 80k.

There is an 8 Year/80,000 Mile Federal emissions equipment warranty that is mandated by the government....So take it in to have the cats changed !!
