Default FMIC questions

When you bought your FMIC, how did you fab it up to work? What tubing did you use? How did you "weld" it or clamp it together? I'm trying to figure out how this works with aluminum. How did you know what size to go with? Brand? Etc?

You should purchase end tanks that match the piping you plan to use in your vehicle. Like radiator hoses, there are various diameters and angles available. Basically you weld those end tanks to your core, and go racin'.

If your IC has 3" openeings then you go with 3" tubing. It's kinda like a puzzle really. You just figure out where you wanna mount the IC and make sure you can get piping to it. Then figure out how many bends you need and what kind. Then you have fun mocking up the piping and measuring before you cut. Some actually go to the extent of using PVC to make the tubing then when it's all finished they can simply measure the PVC and then cut the real tubing to match.
