Drove it for about 10 minutes, everything was fine, then I get an SES.
After the SES tripped, I had no overdrive or converter lock-up.
Scanned it with EASE and it was PO757..2-3 shift solenoid stuck on.
What do you guys think, bad solenoid? Came unplugged? Any ideas? Is it in the valve body accessible by removing the pan?
Thanks.

This code is normal with that loose of a converter. I get the code about once every 3 to 5 weeks, so does my buddy. Clear the code and forget it. It will disable 1st and 4th gear, as well as the TCC. I finally got smart and deleted the code with my LS1 Edit.
I think it happens when the transmission is shifting and I let off of the throttle. It is hard to tell. Enjoy the converter.

Also the fact that it disables 1st gear. I was thinking, man this converter is loose!
I'll be deleting the code right away
Thanks Stupidfast

this board and it's members are the ****, it took all of one hour to figure out the problem and know how to fix it!
sounded like it may have been a significant problem and turns out to be nothing

If it weren't for this board .. I would probably have about 7-9 grand still burning a hole in my pocket still. Wouldn't have near the knowledge or fun driving around though ..
I'll agree .. the knowledge on this board is unbeatable!

Okay, reset the code and turned it off with edit, everything works perfectly now. Stupidfast, YOU DA MAN!
As for impressions of the converter and trans, I'll start a new thread.
