I melted 2 fuse holders w/ mine. So, I rewired it w/ 10awg wire and no problems yet. I think the wire is undersized for the amount of amps these things pull. After they run for a while go ahead and feel how hot the wire gets. You'll see what i mean. Just an idea for some of you to try.

I've been running my fans for most of the summer. FWIW, with the 35A DCC controller, my fuse holder is holding up just fine. It's doesn't even get warm.
I don't believe it's a problem with the fans themselves. To me, fuse holder problems seem to be associated with VSC problems.

Both of mine are a little toasty. I had to pry the melted rubber off of the fuse.
