I went a week with driving my dad's Dakota Quad cab with a puney v6. It strains to hold 80 going down interstate. Mine will do 80 down interstate with a 650lb 4-wheeler in the back and does it with ease. Talk about a change in pace and driving habits!

It feels pretty damn faast for me. I am going to get a billet intermediate servo and a new seal for the OD servo and some slicks. Hopefully that billet intermediate over the vette one will firm up the shift enough so it doesn't feel like it has a little slippage in it anymore.

 I am really leaning towards the Radix/216/220 combo now! Thanks for the updates but we need track times.

This weekend I will be on the road, next I'll be moving, the one after that I'll probably attempt a track visit. Where is Diboll BTW ... ?

Here's a pic of it sitting on my old truck. I did some things different on this one, so I will get some updated pics later on.

That sounds sick. I may have missed it, but did you do the install on your own?? Im in limbo right now with mine. I cant decide whether to do a blower or a heads/ cam with a wet shot. It seems that most people seem to be in agreement that the blower is the safer route. Have you had it custom tuned yet or are you running off of the included tune??

I did the install myself ... we also installed a mild cam at the same time. I think the cam really woke that blower up.

I am running off of the included tune which I am trying to tune the cam with. I'm still having some surging problems with idle and such, but I think I can get it worked out. I will get it professionally tuned once I recover from rebuilding the tranny.

Here are some updated pics:

Things are a little dirty under the hood, keep in mind this came off of my old Z71 so it's all a little dusty.

Default Radix pulleys = boost?

I will be installing a set of 317 heads, along with a Radix, on my 4.8L. Think I can get away with a 3.00" on that set up?
