Finally got the chance to run the new truck at NPR tonight. Great weather for it too! My first run was my best, the rest were driver error. Got to line up with a red silverado. Looking over I see he has a helmet on so I figure "oh great." I honestly though this truck would be in the 14.0-14.1 range b/c it feels slower than my old truck. Light turns green and I take the other truck out the hole, so I'm waiting for him to spray and go by me. We were dead even at the 1/8 and after that I'm thinking this (my) truck may be a 13 sec truck after all b/c he has pulled 1/2 car length and it isn't growing. Got the time slip after the run and see he ran a 13.69 @ 99.25. I was very surprised to see my 13.87 @ 96.71...I guess the truck being slower was all in my head.

BTW, the other guy had 3.73s, cam, edelbrock headers, ls1edit by Thunder Racing, and MT Sportsman Pros.
