Default Finally Fixed-Front o2/LT problem!!!!!

Well I can finally stop worrying and stressing over my problems since the new exhaust setup(Ceramic coated Pacestter LT's,removed cats,2/5" mandrel al the way around with a single Stainless Magnaflow dual in/dual out muffler(22"5x11)-NO ITS NOT QUIT ) Here is the thread explaing the problems I was having-

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=349394

Imagine punching your truck and feeling like a just as powerful one was trying to pull you backwards and during this time hearing and feeling what seems like rocks going through your headers all the way to the muffler and out. Its not a good feeling!

The fix---02' Vette style rear o2 sensors(Bosch 13111) replacing my front two o2 sensors. Plugs didnt match up so had to splice them-all 24"-the Vette ones are LONG!

The problem-Since the LT's the locations of the front o2's has been moved back farther away from the motor-that ont top of the cermaic coating along with the fact that I have an aluminum block the result is the o2's not heating up and staying heated properly. The reason I say the aluminum block has some play in this is tons of you guys have ceramic coated LT's and tons of you guys have the ceramic coated Pacesetter LT's and I dont think any of you has had this issue(at least not that I can find) and most of you are running iron blocks. I know that there are some alum block guys here but dont know why none has had this problem unless they dont have LT's which I find hard to beleive. Thsi problem is almost a given to the F-body guys. I learned a very very important leason through all of this and that is the importance of the front 02's. I was also having an issue with the 02's not switching fast enough witht he original 02's I fried and even the brand new truck ones I replaced those with before I did the Vette ones. Now you cant even attempt to read them they switch so fast!

Another problem I was having but wasnt having as an extreme affect is my MAF sensor(stock). I descreened it over a year ago and since I did the LT's it has been crapping out and some to find out alot of F-bod guys have to put a screened stock one back on even if they had an aftermarket. I didnt really research that problem just got a new screened one!

Sorry for the novel! and would like to thank CRAZYCUTER4.8 becuase without him I would be up **** creek! He always bails me out!

Good job, glad it is all sorted out!
BTW, thanks a ton for posting the solution. So many threads ask questions but do not answer them when solved. Helps when using the search function so we don't need to repeat questions a million times over..

do you have a before and after log file or a screenshots that you could post up? i am interested in seeing what the O2 waveform looked like before and after. i have LTs as well and wander if mine are behaving like they are supposed too. i do get some misfires at idle and while it may be cam related it could also be O2 sensor related. thx.

Actually I do Ill work on getting them up. Heres the thing the problem I was having you would know for sure! Again mine could be an extreme case! Another example of what it felt like is someone plugging and unplugging one or two of your spark plugs while your driving-over and over. Again I dont know if it was the aluminum block that put this over the edge but it seems like it becuase there are countless people on here with LT's! Ill get those screenshots up!

Glad you go tit figured out. I guess the problem with the aluminum block is that it disapates heat a lot faster than an iron block. Good to see the fix posted asd well
