Default Finally Dyno tomorrow!!!!!!

We'll they finally got the Dyno in the ground and ready to roll. And the other good news is that its olny going to be around 95 Deg. at noon when I am suppost to be there. Better then the 111 yesterday. I will post the results tomorrow night. The pulls will be made with pump gas w/o fuel additives. We are doing the daily driven tune.

Default Yep

Yea, I got the 43lb in and man they are great!!!! Much happier with them then the 30lb'ers. Accordding to my boost gauge I am seeing around 8psi. But my Timing is much lower then your 13deg. Try 8deg. But hopefully we'll get a few more degs with the new injectors.

That sounds very strange to me. I dont have any intercooler and I live in FL so I dont have significantly lower temps. I would think you'd have quite a bit more timing, maybe 20*. Did you buy Edit or is that what is being used by the tuner?? Im getting HPTuners as soon as my new laptop gets here.

01 5.3, where is your MAF? Before the blower? After the blower? Before or after the intercooler?

Same setup as mine. His aftercooler is between the blower and TB on the left side if you are facing the engine. Maf is is stock location which is before the blower and then aftercooler.
Black is the man to talk to about tuning. I hope his PM's are clear, he'll be getting alot of questions from me when my tuning software gets here!!

OK, so if I understood that right, the maf is before the blower. The reason I asked, is to see what kind of IAT #'s it would see.

I just looked over my stock file. The high octane timing table would put you in the 11.5-12.5 degree range. Minus about 7-9 degrees for 95-105 degree IAT temps. Plus 5 degrees for the fuel ratio vs rpm modifier table. That equals close to 8 degrees total spark advance.

So with the stock programming, that's about right where your PCM should put it.

You should be able to get away with at LEAST 15 degrees with some sort of custom tune.

Just saw edit in your sig. You should have no problem dialing it in.

Looks like greentahoe awnsered most of the questions, thanks. I am going to try and relocate the iat to after the intercooler so I can get true readings. I am going to try a f body sensor and tap it into my piping. Have you heard of any one who has done this?

ONYX- Yea I am in the Pheonix area, east valley.

Post dyno results in new topic.
