It wont ever being towing anything. How much of a difference is there between a 3200 and 3600? The 3600 Circle D Multi i had a chance to drive felt really good, nice and tight at lighter throttle and really shined when you got on it. Thanks for the replies guys.

This!^^^ Not that the 224R is a bad cam or anything but their are sooooo many more options out there as far as cams go especially if you go with a custom grind.

I just dont see my benifit to going custom grind. Should i be looking at a split duration cam? Whats the advantage to this? I want something that is a proven performer, im trying to take as little risk as i can since this is my first real build...I also dont want to end up with some huge cam thats dead down low.

If you use the 224 cam I would def go with the 3600 it'll be sweet down low. The reason I say go with a custom grind, with the setup you going with have a cam spec'd to match your heads and supporting mods. Those heads should flow really well and they need a cam that will let them. Not saying the 224 won't because that's a decent size cam but there may be something that'll better suit your combo

Thanks for the reply. How would a cam with less duration and more lift work into the equation?. I know typically cams with higher lift are harder on the valve train. I had thunder racing recommend me a TruTorq Lvl 1: 219/224 .609/.604 115 LSA. This cam doesnt seem to match the lsa im looking for so itll chop at idle but the durations and lifts have me interested. Im also thinking about going with the PROVEN TR220/TSP220 and being done with it. There are too many options!
