I'd suggest putting a 2.5" x-pipe in after the y-pipe and have them connect to the 2 2.5" bullets

Here are where my bullets are:

im sort of a noob when it comes to exhausts.. how would you put a x pipe after a y pipe if a y brings together 2 pipes into 1? dont you need 2 pipes after the y to put in an x pipe? and what about cats?

i read somewhere, maybe here that an x-pipe is useless on a truck. The idea of an x-pipe more or less is to balance the flow of exhaust between the 2 sides of the motor. On a camaro or corvette, they work awesome because the distance the pipe travels from the collector to the x-pipe are the same distance. But on our trucks, the driver side comes around to the passenger side and travels a longer distance. The rates at which the exhaust travels through the x-pipe are different not creating the desired effect. Running an x-pipe to the middle of the truck is difficult, especially if the truck is lowered. I want an x-pipe and true duals with LT's but now confused. It looks like i'm just going to run 3" in and 3" out with a magnaflow eventually with the TOG's. Maybe I read some BS, hopefully someone could clarify this more than me,

I am using the x pipe to tone things down and take out so much distortion in my exhasut not. unless your taking off the cats I wouldnt waste the money on it.
