I'm not too worried about the drive shaft (now I am thanks rgvsierra), but what about the tires? I stop at 125 just because I'm not sure my nascar driving skills will help me save it from a blow out.

BTW nice job on the 138mph and the colder iat, thunder550.

as far as i know there is no other intercooler for the radix. larger heat exchangers won't fix it either. you can have the coolant running through the intercooler be 100º and the IAT's will still climb rapidly. the intercooler just can't keep up with the volume of air the blower makes and heat it produces. due to a size restriction of the intake manifold there isn't much you can do to increase the intercooler's size.

nice run btw.

now i gotta go for a logged 140.

Nah dude....neighborhood streets. If I go fast enough my neighbors won't be able to identify me as the culprit.

Nah I did it on the freeway, had a long open stretch with no cars.

If a guy... or a supercharger manufacturer... was to create an upgraded heat exchanger core that fit in the radix base (perhaps with a spacer to make the plenum larger) there would definitely be some interest around here.
Wouldn't you say?

Mjhoward already made a bigger heat exchanger for his radix'ed truck heres the link and it does work

My Z has the one piece aluminum driveshaft. I have had mine up to almost 130 with no problems yet.

the problem isn't the external heat exhanger, it's the intercooler. the piece under the blower. the other has been done many times before.

I realize that but it did drop the IAT's to allow for more timing and thus more power.
