Fast LSXRT ordered

Tonight I went ahead and ordered it when I sat down to do emails.
It will be here shortly.I sold the nitrous outlet 78mm plate to 06tx4.8 and I will be using the nitrousoutlet 90mm plate.
It should turn out well

chevyboy.520 11-23-2010 01:54 AM

Your going to enjoy it! I'm sure you'll be tuned as soon as it's installed lol! I have to wait still! What fuel rails will you be running?

mhotrodscooter 11-23-2010 01:55 AM

Hope you share the gains with us... :thumb:

Wheatley 11-23-2010 01:56 AM

I have been following your thread.LOL
Well seeing I just got my new multech II injectors flow matched last week,I bought the adapter and will run the stock rails for now.I like these injectors.
Yes the manifold is off the truck now, just sitting and waiting.

chevyboy.520 11-23-2010 01:48 PM

I have a set of 44# injectors waiting to be put in! And a new fuel pump! Then I'll Dyno and hit the track! It pulls hard up top right now, so I should pick up a Lil bit all around

double047 11-23-2010 02:04 PM

I'm going to order one here pretty soon after I get some more cash scraped together!

i personally think youre gonna be overwhelmingly impressed with it :D

RibeiroBJJ 11-23-2010 02:36 PM

<<<Jealous...
Looking foward to results...I need to get one

Bumpers 11-23-2010 03:20 PM

I'm really curios to see how much they gain over the stock 99-07 intake.. Since they gain like 15/18 over the 07+/tbss intake

Wheatley 11-24-2010 12:34 AM

I have talked with Jarrod (1Bear) about this intake many times,
I think that is what it is,people are scared to spend that much money without many reviews.
It will work great though I am sure,
Nwxt Will be the new heads when I actually rip these off and send them up north,

I went with the 90mm LOL
No pigtails are needed for the Delphi multech II,plug n play.
I got these from Jon last week.I had the same injectors before,I just wanted them flow matched.

i still think you should have spent just a little more and got heads first...you might as well throw my ported LS6 heads on your truck while im not using them:angel:

x2. Those prc ls6 heads from Texas Speed are a little over $1k. But That 102 is a sexy mofo. Gains should be big going from a 78mm stock intake.

Thought the TBSS intakes and the Gen IVs had the same design. Just cathedral ports instead of rectangle.

I just read what i typed and realized it didnt make much sense. Im curious to see how much the 90mm or the 102 fast lxrt gains over the stock 78mm intake on the 99-07 trucks... since they gain like 20 hp with the fast over the 90mm tbss/07+ intakes and the tbss intake is a pretty good increase over the 78mm like (15/18) or around those numbers... if that makes anymore sense... so in theory if it were a stock engine with the 78mm intake the fast lsxrt would gain like 35hp over the stocker....

Beatdown Z 11-24-2010 05:31 PM

So what does the engine have done to it now? cu. in., cam, etc...

Wheatley 11-24-2010 05:37 PM

It is going on my 06 crewcab Lq4 243 heads milled .035 unported, will be TEA stage III soon

charlie you got a great set of heads sitting on your motor right now, i would invest in having those heads reworked, i hear nothing but good things coming from those casting way better than any other head, take it for what its worth but i would at lease look into it. well almost better than the ls3 lmao

Amedee 11-30-2010 06:26 AM

And updates on the progress can't wait to see what a good tune can do for that lsxrt.

Wheatley 11-30-2010 08:35 AM

My bad Charlie, we were texting back and forth yesterday when you could have been playing with your new toy, haha

That's going to be a mean setup, can't wait to hear how it runs!

Beatdown Z 11-30-2010 06:16 PM

Nice setup! Do you have a track time or dyno number to compare to? Or are you just gonna go by sotp gain?

Bumpers 11-30-2010 06:21 PM

You could atleast post pictures :) those things look good..

Wheatley 11-30-2010 08:06 PM

Steven, business first bud,I couldn't do it without yall.
I will get pics up tonight, still messing with it as I get time late at night.
Yes I have dyno numbers to compare to,I will be using the same dyno.
I have track numbers but never got back to the track to gett what I wanted with the stock manifold, but thats ok.
Before and after dyno charts will be posted when I strap it back down,I will do that after the new year though, letting Christmas pass first.

Bumpers 11-30-2010 08:23 PM

What size injectors you running?

Wheatley 11-30-2010 08:25 PM

I have the multech II 42lb flow matched!!

hirdlej 11-30-2010 11:26 PM

I want to see how the stock wiring harness lays over the intake. I'm interested in one of these as well :)

skyhighsami 12-01-2010 10:23 AM

How low in the rpm will you start the pull and where was the previous? I'd like to see if it hurts low rpm power

Wheatley 12-01-2010 09:16 PM

Well my converter is a 3800,so i really don't see lowend.LOL
The converter flashes right at 3800-4000 N/A and about 4200 on the bottle.

01GMC5.3 12-01-2010 10:42 PM
