Default FAST 78 or LS6 manifold

I can get the 78mm for $400 and the Ls6 for $300 would it be worth the extra 100 bucks to do the 78mm FAST?

I'm just gonna use my stock P&P'd TB.

Any input would be nice. thanks

I'd go with the LS6 or the FAST90. Resale value would be better with a FAST 90. You could just run a simple adapter plate and use a 78mm TB. I'm pretty sure that either FAST would show gains over the LS6 intake. I'm just not sure if your 5.3 is going to pull enough air to see those gains or not.

I think I'm gonna go with the FAST 78 because it seems like such a good deal I don't really want to pass it up.

I wouldn't mind getting the FAST 90mm. But I don't know if anyone makes a drive-by-wire throttle body that is 90mm and will plug into my harness or without too much re-wiring.

if anyone knows of one that is easy enough to wire in, I might go that route.

The 90mm Truck intake makes more average power and TQ on the dyno, why not get one of those and a 90mm TB?

For the small price difference, I'd go with the FAST 78 too. You could always buy the 90mm upper shell later when you get the TB worked out.
