factory quiet exhaust
my 2002 2500HD has a large DI/DO magnaflow muffler...I'm getting old and i'm tired of the rougher ride and noise. I've decided to go back to factory style exhaust and get a set of Michelin tires to replace these loud(ish) all terrain tires. What brand mufflers should i be looking at?
Or, does anyone in the Houston area have a stock 99-07 classic muffler for a HD series gasser?

My Tahoe has the biggest DI/DO 3in muffler I've ever seen its a Flopro I don't know the part number but its honestly as quiet as factory even with long tube headers(with cats). Put it this way my mother has a brain tumor and is extremely sensitive to light and sound. I drive her to her doctors appointments and she says her 2016 Mazda CX5 is to loud so she prefers I drive her places in my Tahoe.

I dont want to hear about your friends wood, thanks
The only caution I have for factory exhaust is I broke something inside the 6.2 muffler that was on my truck. Would rattle bad between like 2300-2600. Ive since moved to a magnaflow 12909 and its much quieter, and nothing in it can break
So thats my word of caution, dont break the factory muffler baffles

If I had a bigger pulley on my blower to slow it down with less boost, it wouldn't be so noticable during regular driving. It would only sound like a siren at large throttle openings. But as it is, I have to listen to it always. It sounds like a bad power steering pump around town.
I wish I had a bigger blower so I could slow it down and not have to hear it (and get more boost).
I'm happy with my stock muffler, but always hearing the blower can be annoying.
