f body t stat work in my 02 4.8??

Will a t-stat out of an ls1 fbody work in my 4.8. Im demodding my 98 z, and im just gonna use my 160 stat out of the car if they are the same

I didn't see any, it simply allows you to run more ignition timing advance...
