Default F-Body LT's fit on 01 Silverado?

I have a buddy that has a 01 Silverado with a 5.3 and wants to buy the Hedman LT's for the F-body and wants to know if they will fit without major work? We can do minor work (notching, grinding), but nothing major, has anyone done this before?

Thanks

There was a guy at the Thunder Shootout with fbody headers on his 5.3L. He just got them bent a little with heat. They looked good under the hood!

I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I see all this used F-body stuff on here for sale, and some good deals. If he does it, let us know how hard it was. The main drawback I could see is getting it to work with the rest of the exhaust.

yea we were going to make the rest of the exhaust with a H pipe with sweet thunder mufflers dumped. He just wanted to know if anyone has done this before he does and tries it....

like slowprocess said, the guy at thunder shootout was saying he had to heat the header up then he used a come-along to bend the header.

Did the passenger side hit anything? How low are the collectors? His Truck is lowered 2" in front and 4" in the rear and just wanted to know if the collectors is the lowest point.
