for my application, i feel the thorleys are too restrictive for my truck, even tho they are long headers. they only have 1 5/8 primarys, and the asms have 1 3/4. my cheap edelbrok shorties have 1 5/8 primarys. i think the togs may even have 1 7/8 primarys. im thinking bigger is better. plus im runnin 12 pounds of boost, so i need to let this thing breathe, not plug it up.

.......no chance.........

Camaro......what Camaro ......and what are these "mods" your talking about......my car is/will always be STOCK

j/k......I'm waiting for the pipe to show up so I can mod my headers (had to cut the #s 4,6,8 primaries off to fit the motor plate). I'll drop the valve covers off tomorrow to get powder coated (I grafted a set of center bolt SBC valve covers onto part of a stock valve cover to make tall covers.....take that $450+ ARE ). Once I get the headers and valve covers back I SHOULD just need to put things like the rad/oil cooler/accesories/etc. on and see if it runs.

Sounds cool Chris! Good idea with the valve covers. I never even thought about that. $450 is a ton of cash for taller valvecovers.

SportSide 5.3 - i was trying to find a picture that he had posted on his site a while back, but all of his links now go to his shop.

If you do a search there was a guy on here from louisianna that had them on his 5.3L
He had to notch the drivers side front support right below the #5 piston.. as well as move/cut(plasma cut) a few other things in the engine bay
the #1 primary header isnt sloped enough to clear the frame..
the passenger side will fit..
its the driver side that you will run into fitment problems.
