Default EXHAUST whos happy whos not?

I am no different than so many in that your always trying things. My exhaust was LTs no cats 2 bullets to a big flowpro dual in/dual out.It was raspy and loud, this has to be my favorite set up now.Yesterday I had the bullets removed and replaced with a big crossflow dual in and out magnaflow, sounds awesome.Quiet when you want it and full tone when you hammer it.The addition worked great as a resonator.I need to vid a 5mph hammer it drive by.Have been really enjoying the recent radix performance.

I know I loved my old trucks setup -

OBX LT
6" round, 16" long magnaflow
Corsa sport

Used to have people chase me down just to ask about the exhaust, it was a unique sound and not loud at all. Zero drone. I would have done the same thing on the SS, but I want more than a single 3" pipe. We'll see how this new setup goes.

mine sounds like ***. dyna lt w/ cats into a cutout. I also have a 22" magnaflow welded into the stock catback. I hate that muffler so bad. All it does is drone it's *** off and sounds like ****. When I floor it I can hear the clutch fan louder than the exhaust. Worst mod by far I've ever done.

What I want is stock quiet cruising on the highway and a roar when I mash it. Let me know what I need to do to get this lol

Cut you tailpipe off as it dumps over the axle.... bet it moves the drone to a different RPM and becomes almost un-noticable

You were using a magnaflow muffler though?

Default SLP duel cat back

I have a 04 silv. 5.3 ecsb. I have a drone in the worst place. Right around the speed limmit. Between 55 and 60 mph. Or 1800 to 1900 rpm. It sucks and I can't stand it anymore. If I get up over 2000 rpm it's gone, but then I'm going 65+ and thats hard to do all the time in a 55. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

I have JBA shorty headers with no cats and a true dual set up out the back with magnaflow mufflers and I love the way it sounds! I have a clip of it on my profile page.

Dynatech LT's w/cats, GMPP cat-back w/22" Magnaflow muffler, some mild drone at 2k but not too crazy. Nice tame rumble at idle, nice and loud at WOT. I have been told by a few people that my truck sounds more like a Camaro then a truck.
