You do not want pacesetters in a wet climate.. They will rust with in a few years.. TRUST ME

I've got the pacesetter shorties and they havent rusted. My hooker super comps on my Camaro are black and they haven't rusted.

I'd love to do stainless, they're just crazy expensive.

How does the stock tune react to removing the cats? What headers do you recommend?

Thanks!

When you remove the cats you will throw a CEL. It will get horrible gas mileage. That's what mine did until i got a retune

You have to pay to play.. Naturally shorties will take a little longer to rust as they do not have the collectors hanging down by the road/ground/elements.. The collectors on the PS'rs or any cheaper coated header will rust out in a few years if it is wet, dry, cold ect.. If you do not get any rain or moisture up there then they will suffice, other wise you will go damn I should have spent the extra on stainless.. BEEN THERE DONE THAT..

What about the el cheapo eBay specials? I think they're called OBX or something like that. They're around 500-600.00. Are they complete garbage? I'll have to crawl under my truck when I get off of work today and take some pics.

If I do have that magnaflow setup, I wonder if I can order just the replacement parts instead of the entire kit?

Thanks for the help fellas.

Here's some random pics of the damage if you're curious.

At least the muffler is magnaflow.
