Default exhaust setup

here is what im thinking. i already bought edelbrock headers and 2 cutouts and a x pipe, and on the truck i have a true dual set up with 1 chamber flows. could i cut out the cats and replace them with the cutouts or should i leave the cats and mount the cutouts to the headers? also what kind of sound and horse power gain will i get?

Default Re: exhaust setup

put the cut outs after the cat and have a straight pipe made with flanges on each side the same size as the cat then you can take your cat off at any time.... also there is a company that makes electric cut outs so you can open up at a red light...
