How much did you get quoted for the ones that custom exhaust done? Everyone says that getting it custom done at a shop versus getting a pre-made one is cheaper. What did you guys get quoted? I want to get a magnaflow muffler and have it dump in the stock location, but hidden. Don't want any exhaust to show. Trying to go as smooth as possible but have clean sound.

 

Shouldn't be more that $100-$150 installed, depending on which Magna you choose. I got my custom set up installed for $225, Magnaflow 3" in dual 2.5" out side exit before the passanger side rear wheel. Guy does excellent work...so, I think I could have shopped around a bit and shaved some bucks off here and there, but would have sacrificed the craftsmanship...

 

i got my magnaflow dumped for 100 buck total.

 

I got my 1 chamber dumped for 125. that's including the muffler.

Neato. How about drone? My biggest fear is drone, I don't want to have it on the highway.

 

Well it depends on the mufler really!! But if you want him to get it and set it all up then he'll prolly only have the loudest s.o.b. you could get. So if you want it a little quiet you should try a diff mufller than the one's he's got. I like the gibson muffler alot but thats just me. Its really quiet but performs like a champ and still has a "great" tone to it. Not laggy like most quiet Muf's are.

 

I don't want to be loud, just want to sound good. And absolutely no drone. As little as possible.

 

Yep thats what that Gibson is good for although i cant quite remember the name of the exact setup i have hmmmmm !! Stand-by
