+1 for 2.5 duals with xpipe. Maybe I'm just being a little biased here

I used to run duals all the way back from headers (I'm catless) and wasn't to happy with the unbalanced sound and it did crackle and pop annoyingly on decel. Got an xpipe welded in and made a huge difference sound wise. No more crackle/pop and the exhaust sounds much more balanced and as mentioned very sports car like.

Dual 3" at a minimum and make sure it's mandrel bent. after all, this is performance trucks and we're trying to get big flow here for future mods. 4" single also sounds very good with a pacesetter off road y pipe through a diesel muffler.

I prefer a true dual system, 2.5 with an X pipe will work great for
your truck, that;s what i run with headers. to big a pipe loses
low end tq.
