Default Exhaust leak questions...

First off, the truck is a 2004 Silverado SS. Stock headers and down-pipes with cats and a custom exhaust after the cats and back. A few days ago I tried to hop a curb that I guess I shouldnt have . It seems that the curb caught the drivers side cat a little bit and now I have a leak between where the header connects to the Y-pipe on the drivers side. From what I can see there are 3 bolts that bolt the y-pipe to the header. I tried tightening all of them and the leak is still there. I am planning on putting long-tubes on the truck sometime within the next month but basically I would like to know if there is anything I can do in the mean time to get rid of this exhaust leak/ ticking noise it is making. I was thinking something like maybe get some kind of gasket from an exhaust shop and put it in between that connection? or is there some kind of sealent i can put around there that will hold for the next month until the long tubes are purchased and installed?

Use some High Temp RTV and goop it all over, or just deal with it till you get the headers.

LOL at the un-necessary posts by ryan 1997 that i guess were deleted? either way, i was thinking high temp RTV but I have to see what the temp rating is on that stuff. I know this area of the exhaust is basically the hottest. Any other alternatives to RTV if that doesnt hold?
