Exhaust

Exhaust
First I would like to say hello as I am new here.
My question is this.
I have an 07 NBS GMC Sierra 4X4 5.3.
I now have a welded in Flowmaster muffler in place of the stock.
What I want to do is a true duel from the front back. Two pipes from the front to some type of an x pipe and then exit the rear. With mufflers of coarse. Do you guys thing it will make much of a difference from what i have now?
I also have a programmer and CAI. The truck runs good but have always been a believer of duel exhaust on my older cars, just not sure on the newer rides.
Thanks in advance.

Well (chasmanian) to be honest with you first off i'd say get rid of the programmer and purchse a tune from 1 of our sponsors to the right of the screen, many members are running true duels with good resolts but most everybody ir running them on long tube headers , i dont think it will help you much on the stock exhaust manifolds , but if you were to do some long tubes with true duels you will defenetly like it even if you keep you cats ! and you might want to consider a better muffler that is straight through like a magnaflow , dynomax, borla .ect....... good luck .

^ x2, a Wheatley, blackbear or other tune will be worlds better than your programmer...
Also get longtube headers, and dynomax or magnaflow bullets if your running duals
So LTs, X pipe into prolly 3" exhaust each with a bullet.
That should be what you're thinkin
Also, welcome to PT!
