hey guys i have a '94 chevy silverado 5.7L 350 V8 and i already have 1 single in/dual out 40 series flowmaster muffler, and i was thinking about getting another one to have duals, and i was jsut wondering if anybody here might have a clip of a 350 with true dual 40 series flowmaster, thanks

What you need to do is get rid of that no-flow master, unless you just want the sound it puts out. The no-flow masters do not flow. Go with a magnaflow or borla, something with a staright through design to get the power. As for the sound, that would depend on the rest of the exhaust leading up to.

My brother-in-law had the same exact truck with true dual delta-flow 40 series flowmasters (The old ones off of my truck) and the cats cut-off. Truck sounded very good. But yeah, I agree with these guys, get the magnaflow(s).

A 3" exhaust is just as good if not better for you truck than a truck dual 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" pipe. However, make sure you put a crossover in there if you go duals...it will sound much better. I had true dual hooker aerochambers, x-pipe, no cats on my truck...very aggressive sounding. If I would have kept the cats on the truck, it would have had the sound I wanted but it was a little loud. Before that I had a Edelbrock RPM cat back and it was nice and deep. I personally like an aggressively deep tone....not loud and raspy.
