I had my exhaust installed a few weeks ago and since I had already installed the headers and the exhaust shop could not put any flanges on them. So the whole system is fully welded. I know have to cut the system in order to do some work on the transmission. Before I have it welded back could I install some exhaust flex joints. I was going to have it welded to the header and a flange on the other end. Has anyone used these before? How well will they work or are they not recommended?

 

Come on I know you guys have seen or used these before. Don't leave hanging out to die.
