Default Exhaust ?

Im planning on getting an exhaust on my truck this weekend, its a 5.3 regular cab, with just a tune, I dont what something loud at cruise but i want for it to sound loud when you step on it. I was thinking in making it a true dual with the X pipe, what do you all recommend.

If you want it loud when you get one it and quiet at cruse, get a couple of magnaflow mufflers. I think either the 14 inch or 18 inch case will be real nice with a x and true duals.

I had 2, 14" 5x8 Magnaflows put behind my LTs with no cats today and it sounds pretty tame at idle and cruising, but really mean at WOT. I had 40 series flowmasters b4 and they were, waaay too loud and obnoxious WITH the cats.

Duals 2.5", x-pipe, & magnaflow's. The key factor is were you exit the exhaust. The closer you chop it off towards the mufflers, the more drone you will have in the cab if dumped downward. You might be best suited with rear exit or even side exit before or after rear wheel, whatever your perference may be.

just get a set of glass packs and some chrome tips, they will hear you when you get on it, and they will know when you add in a cam.

I know, I know, it is more costly than others but I am most likely the worst about not tolerating resonance in the cab. I have a Corsa Touring edition and am absolutely, completely happy with it. The straight through, no baffle design with porting to kill resonance, and good smooth bends in stainless steel is what you pay for. If you plan on having the truck for a few years it is worth the money.

I'd do the Corsa in a heartbeat, but they don't make one for my truck, an '04 2500 (same as 1500HD). I'm gonna do the FloPro this weekend.
