Default Exhaust on 2500 6.0

This is what I'm thinking for exhaust on my 2500 6.0.

Pacesetter headers
2.5 inch non-mandrel bent pipe
Factory cats
Dynomax Ultra Flo X muffler

This is a true dual system. What do you think? Anybody got sound clips of a similiar setup?

if you want 2.5 inch, go obx imo. get a set for a 6.0 and weld in you factory cats... all stainless and less fab work.

If you are planning on running more than 500 hp I would go up to the 3 inch pipe. When I went over 550hp the restriction was obvious. I am currently doing a pacesetter 1 3/4 primaries to 3 inch true duals. I should have it installed in the next 10 days, just waiting on pacesetter to coat the headers. I would be happy to post a clip although we are using magnaflow mufflers.

BACK FROM THE PAST.

Will pacesetter headers for my 1500 fit on a 2500?

That's my question too.

Some places don't list the 6.0l but I know it shares parts with the 5.3 and 4.8.

My dad's truck (and soon to be mine) is a 00 2500 w/ 6.0 and 4x4. So will 5.3l 4wd headers work?

6.0 2500 has stock dual exhaust before the muffler. 5.3 has a y pipe with a single input muffler.

the headers should work fine, youll just have to get a set of mid pipes fabbed up to run with the dual exhaust.

I'm not worried about fitting after the collectors that's wasy stuff. I just wanted to make sure there were no clearance issues. I know it'd bolt up to the head just the same.
