Ok i have heard of a few people with differing stories about the condition of their longtubes. Mine are a bit rusty.
Just curious to see if only a few people got a bad batch or if this is normal or natural or whatever.
After entering your answer please post up and let us know the condition they are in and the area in which you live. Also please tell us where you live in relation to Salt water or any other factors that would cause them to corode or not. Also please post up how long you have had them and an estimation of miles put on them.

I have a lot of surface rust. I live in Texas and nowhere near any salt or corrosive exposure. Had them about 9 months on the truck with about 15,000 miles on em.

7 months old and a little dull due too a lot of WOT driving. I only drive the truck when its dry and sunny but i did notice a good amount of rust forming on the inside when i took the rest of my exhaust off to get coated. Cant expect to much for the price but when i swap a new motor in i will get them recoated inside and out.

Mine look pretty much just like they did out of the box except for a little dirt and dust and some handprints. I live near San Antonio, pretty far from any water or harsh conditions. I've had mine since November, but I only drive my truck about 200 miles per month.

Crawled Under Mine Today, A Lil Bit Of Surface Rust On The Bottom Of The Collector On Both Sides, And A Lil Dull, Almost Like The Coating Is Coming Off On The Front Driverside Primary Tube. The Headers Have Been On There Since Beginning Of October 2005. I Live In Pasadena, Tx. Just South Of Houston, About 50 Miles From Galveston.
