Default ETC on non-ETC pcm

I haven't been able to find a solid answer anywhere about using an electric throttle body with a non-ETC harness. I'm sure it could be done somehow with a little engineering. I could always get a cable operated tb, but having no throttle cable would be very clean and convenient. I would assume that I need a sending unit i.e. gas pedal from a ETC type vehicle. The harness I'm going to use is a 2002 or 2000 truck harness. Thanks for the help.

You'll need the accelarator peddle setup with a TPS sensor,a different TAC unit on the fire wall,TBW throttle body,a different harness with 2 or 3 new pin connections to the PCM,about 6wires to the TAC,to the peddle and to the throttle body plus programming for PCM.I went the opposite way with my setup and use a cable operated 90mm UMIracing throttle body.Speartech can fix you up with a complete TBW setup.

I talked to speartech and they want 200 shipped for a harness, f-that. I'm gonna go cable as of right now until I actually get a ls1 for the buggy.
