Default Engines?

Me and a buddy were talkin today...
Where are the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0s built? are they hand built? i know the bolts have to be tighted... but ive never heard about this.
I know the LS7 get the special treatment from specialized engine builders.

Just curious..

Yeah, it's pretty funny. People dog on the new Tundra's for being "rice" but they're built right here in Texas.

And their Chevy Silverado was probably built in Canada and their motor built in Mexico

GM has been building their engines in Mexico for a lonnng time...I remember swapping a 350 Target motor around 1989, and the crate was marked "Hecho En Mexico"
