I do not have a factory cluster. I have a 64 Impala dash in my truck.

I had blackbear tune out the passlock system last year. Before i tore it down again over the winter it would start every time. (I havent done anything different with the engine this time just had to take the cab off to rebuild the firewall)

I do remember before i got it tuned it would run for a second and then die (when the passlock was on) but now it wont even fire at all. Just cranks and maybe once every 15 seconds a brief fire.

Again this is after it was running just the other day for 30 seconds to a minute. Thats why its so confusing to me lol. If it wouldnt have started at all it wouldnt be as frustrating.

I pulled all the plugs out tonight and cleaned them up a little bit and put them all back in and it "almost" starts. It fires about every other try but wont actually start. I ordered some new NGK's today (wont be in until tomorrow) so hopefully the new plugs will solve my problem.

Heres a few more pics of the truck. I'm trying to get it to Showfest next month.

is it aftermarket, custom made or straight out of a 64 Impala? it looks good in there

EDIT: you should make a thread in the Project Gallery

I built the ends / sides out of metal. I shaped them by hand and continued the body line through them to match the rest of the dash. (there were no ends from the impala) I also made them so they fit my stock pillars. On the top side (by the windshield) I had to extend the dash about 4-6" to fit my truck. I also filled in where the stock controls were on the dash because i wanted a clean look. I will probably add some switches right there though.

Did you try some additive in the gas...Sea Foam,BG-44K,etc. ? If the old gas did break down or was dirty or had water, there might still be remnants of it in your fuel system.

Nice looking truck!

No i didnt. Should i just add it to the tank? I'll pick some up today. I did add about 3 gallons of new gas to the existing 3 gallons.

Also i just started a project thread if you want to see more pictures / the different stages of my truck.
