Default engine swap questiom

gonna put in a 6.0 lq4 do i use my stock 5.3 flex plate/ fly wheel whatever the hell its called or do i use the 6.0 one?

use the one off of the original motor>>>but i think one time i looked the part number and thier all the sam if I remember right ....have fun let us know how it whent ...youre gonna have to pull the out of the tranny to seperate ...put the dowles back in the block for easier alighnment when going back in

If it came out of a 1500 (Denali) then just use the flexplate that's on there. If it came from a 2500 you'll need to use your 5.3 flexplate

This. The flexplate is dependent on the transmission, not the engine. If the new engine had a 4L60/65/70 attached, it will have the same flexplate as your 5.3.

its from a 04 denali. pretty sure the trans was the same just was AWD. And im not putting the motor in until i get a built trans. will be a little easier with everything out.
