Default Engine swap: 5.7L or 6.0L?

Well just like the subject says, I'm trying to decide which motor I should buy for an engine swap. Either way, I plan on adding lighly ported heads and a big cam. I've done a lot of reading about the pros and cons of each, but I though I'd post here to get your opinions. If it were your truck, which would you do and why?
Thanks

I'm gonna get the 6.0 LQ9, less stuff to convert in the truck and just as much hp, with only a few mods

I would go with the alum block. If your starting out fresh why not skip the extra 90 lbs.

"There's no replacement for displacement" I think that pretty much sums it up.

Thats what I've been thinking too. I know the 6.0 is about 80lbs heavier, but I think a 6.0 bored .030 over would have more than enough displacement to make up for the extra weight. A set of 5.7 heads on the 6.0 should bump the compression up nicely too.

How much do the 6.0's typically go for?

go with the 6.0L and ported 5.3L HEADS higher compression ratio, and they flow better than the 5.7L's even when ported.

Another question...Is there a difference between the 5.3 and 6.0 intake manifolds or are they the same?
