Default Engine error code p0300

hey I was wondering if anyone knew what this meant?
p0300 - Random/multiple cyl. misfire detected. I got this driving home today. This is the first time its happened. Is this a "bad" thing?

If you are stock you need a tuneup. If you have mods read this thread.

Did you install a cam with an LSA of 112 or less. If so, that's your problem. If not I hope the tune up solves you problem.

This is a very common code after a cam swap. I got even iwth a 114 lsa cam.

i got it when i got my motor running after sitting for a while. i changed the plugs cuase of it sitting and havent checked the codes for a few days...but it isnt breaking up anymore so i assume the misfire code is gone. but i still think the cam in this thing is a mystery, several think its not stock.
