Default Electrical Problem

I keep blowing the fuse to the horn and burning out the driver's side brake light. I know that there has got to be a short somewhere, but where. Is this common to these trucks? I have a 2000 5.3 Ext Cab. I see a lot of Chevy's with the driving lights burned out, but not the brake lights. Any help is appreciated.
