Default Electrical Convenience Package?

On my 2002 1500HD 6.0 truck I have an Electrical Convenience Package that list for $315.00. What does this package consist of? I know it includes the temperature and directional read out in the rear view mirrow but what else does it include?

Probably nothing more than the mirror. In GM's eyes, $315 for a fancy mirror is a good deal.

Fog lights & fancy mirror, that's it.

How are you liking the new ride?

I means, They located the battery in a convenient location so when it starts leaking it is easy to get out. J/K Two of my AC Delcos leaked at the + post.

Seriously, what Neil 6.0 said. Although my fogs were $140, no mirror.

BigTex: Get a mirrior from Bob Prim over at Pacific Audio, I think he is still doing kits.

Well, I suppose since the mirror was on the truck I had no choice. I felt lucky to find the colors and equipped almost like I wanted. It is kinda neat knowing the outside temperature and direction at all times. I have used it much already.

$315 for a fancy mirrow and fog lights is pretty steep though. I thought maybe it included lighting as under the dash, etc.

Neil,

Yes I like this truck much better than the Dodge. The transmission function is much better. The Dodge transmission converter was constantly locking and unlocking under 45 mph. Much like my Ford tranny operated. This Chevy does not lock until about 50. Yet it is tight enough to keep the rpm down. Might not be too good with an aftermarket loose converter though. This will save much wear on the converter bands I feel. The Dodge was working itself to death!

My test results are not totally conclusive yet as I haven't driven it enought to give a good evaluation yet. But initially, I perfer this tranny operation better.

Fast 4.8,

I do have fog lights and they are not listed on my window sticker. I suppose they are part of the ECG.

Brooke,

I don't think I will have to remove my mirrow to beat you. Better have Big Red ready!

Larry can`t wait to see you run that truck.. If you run friday, I am guessing 15.5`ss out of the box with manual shifting and spare removed.. I think we will run you in the 5.3 Litre Tahoe first and then let you work your way upto BIG RED..Then you will
