can any post any info on them. i would just like to learn more on them. in pros or cons.

 

Are you talking about the drive by wire TB's on the 03's and up??


If so I have one (since I have an 03) and I have yet to locate a replacement part should I want to go bigger, nor have I been able to detirmine if the blade opens to a 90 or not. If not I doubt there is a way to fix it....

In other words, I dont know anything. But from looking at mine it appears to be a solid design.

 

My 01 uses a 6 wire dual TPS at the throttlebody and a third TPS on the accelarator peddle hooked to a small computer on the drivers side corner of the firewall that has a 2 wire hookup to signal to a motor on the side of the throttlebody.Installing one would be easy you just need all the components.

 

Yes, our throttle bodies open a full 90 degrees on the drive by wire, and it is not to hard to polish the TB for better performance.

 

I had a stock 03 throttle body opened up to 78 mm and Im getting a decreased engine power message.. anyone know how to fix that?
