Default electric fans?

I came across some electric fans and they are advertised as:

Dual fan setup for 98-02 LS1 Camaros and Firebirds, measurements are 28"x18"x6", and the picks of them are below.

Are these the fans that most of you are swapping to, and do these look like they would work with my truck in signature? I know that I should also get a nelson harness, and will need some computer tuning to get them to work, but other than that, should I be OK?

Thanks in advance

Those are the ls1 fans everyone uses. When you put in that lq9 did you put in a 34" radiator? If you have the 27" radiator that should work fine and fit it like a glove.. Otherwise I am unsure of the fitment. As for having it wired up, look into a nelson performance electric fan harness. I bought one off a member here recently and it worked like a charm!

It doesn't matter which radiator you have, they will work. You may have to fab up some brackets but that shouldn't be too hard...

I still have the original radiator that came with 4.8 so it should be the 27". Should I also be concerned if it comes with the stock wiring harness of some sort that can plug into the nelson harness or does the nelson harness pretty much take care of everything? Thanks so far and srry for all the questions

I use the same fans with a Flexalite VSC. Works great, and you don't have to run it through the computer.

PM DLH2006 he is making harnesses. I'm sure the nelson harnesses are great, but they are overpriced IMO.
