i am looking to put electric fans in my 02 silverado z71. i was told you can use f body fans or escalade fans. i rather go with escalade fans. what year truck should i get the escalade fans from? will i have to change rad? if so what rad sould i bee geting like from an 06 escalde or other trucks. will all my hoses hookup and trans coolser lines oil cooler lines. what harness should i get have heard some guy haveing trouble with some witch do you guys think is best. i will prob have to get pcm prog to turn fans on and off. thans for the heal in advance. if you guys have any part nubers that would be great thanks.

 

Get a set of fans from TrickPerformanceProducts and have your PCM programmed to turn the fans on.

You can get a harness from Nelson, Blackbear, or you can make your own.

 

thouse will be fine with factory rad. i will just have plug in harness and prog pcm mot bad. do you have 12 or 14 fans what did it cost you for fans and shrowd it says starting from 160.

 

will the harness plug into my factory harness. whare is the connector on my truck thanks.

 

You have to insert 1 wire into each ECM connector. Then 1 to the Batt and the other is ground. Then there's 2 connectors for the fans. I went with the Blackbear harnes and a set of ls1 fans I had. Had to make a couple of brackets for the fans but looks almost stock

BTW, I put an inline 40amp circuit breaker inline as I did not see a fuse on the harness.
