Electric fan is install although stock clutch fan is still on engine. I'll try again today on getting it off. Can you tell me which way again do I need to turn the wrench? Towards the driver or passenger side! Need it off by next Tuesday or Thursday because that is the last day the 1/4 mile track around here will be open for the year. Wanted the ASP pulleys on also by next week but cannot seem to find them anywhere.

Looking at the fan, turn it counterclockwise (to your left <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ).

Put a large crescent wrench or pipe wrench on the nut. Have the handle pointing up. Tap the end of the handle w/ a hammer a couple of times. This will jar the fan free with out spinning the belts too much. Once it breaks free, you can spin it by hand to get it off.

Good luck.
